Department of Ophtalmology

The Department of Ophthalmology is directed by Dr. Michel FURIA *. The team is composed of Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists, Optometrists, assistants, secretaries and nurses. Anesthesiologists and allergists complement it.

The Clinic offers 3 types of medical services: consultations, functional explorations and surgery.

The consultation area ranges from the simplest medical examination to a thorough check-up. The surgical area is composed of 3 operating rooms, one of which dedicated to refractive laser surgery.

The medical team provides medical care, diagnosis and treatment of any ophthalmological pathologies (excluding oncology) with a state-of-the-art technical platform.


Ambulatory surgery:

Any eye surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure.

Computerization allows us to work in real time and network especially at the surgery room

The quality of our services is reflected by a highly performing unit with all existing equipment for exploration and treatment on the same site, by a skilled team who communicates immediately and efficiently, by the complete care of the patient, and by designating only one team responsible for all stages of the patient’s management and monitoring.

Certification: Certification V1 and V2 in 2004 obtained in 2008.

Waiting times are extremely short which allows patient travelling from France or abroad to be treated quickly


In the Department of Ophthalmology different eye diseases are treated:

Refractive errors correction, myopiahyperopiaastigmatism, and presbyopia by Lasik, by Femtosecond and Excimer lasers, by PKR or by implants.
